MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Dear Prospective King David School Parent:

One of the biggest challenges facing you today is where you should send your child to receive a well-rounded quality education. Likewise, you should ask what are the characteristics for the ideal school where you will be sending your most precious charge; and what are the values that are promoted at the institution where your child will be at his or her “home away from home”? These are the critical questions that you need to ask yourself before you make this incredibly important decision.

Here at The King David School, where education is a value and values are a way of life, we take pride in our ability to challenge every child to grow to become the best that he or she can become. Our academic program has built the foundation for many a valedictorian and salutatorian. Our teaching methods have developed critical thinking skills within our students that have truly amazed future teachers; and this very same academic program has, and most certainly still is, stimulating every child’s developmental, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Whether a student begins in Kindergarten with a 10 to 1 student teacher ratio, or whether a student enters into the 8th grade class to experience traveling on the annual trip abroad, every student is treated independently based on his or her personal needs. Having the opportunity to excel in the arts, to learn solid foundational athletic skills, or to exercise their leadership skills in the myriad of daily opportunities, these are all moments that our students relish.
